Aloha...well...almost

So I'm super excited because on Thursday Jeff and I fly to Hawaii for 10 days!!! That's right!! YAY!!! Tonight Jeff was texting me and asking about things and he said that Hawaii is going to get a few degrees warmer while he's there because he's so HOT! ROFL! I'm gonna be stuck with my stinky little brother for 10 whole days with him saying comments like this...lol. I'm hoping for internet access sometimes, but that might be too optimistic. I'll post what I can though. If nothing else I'll email the text and add the pictures later :)

Oh...poor Norman is going to be left home unsupervised. I've already volunteered him for all sorts of projects to help with at his sister's house. Hopefully that keeps him busy. If anyone sees my honey misbehaving please let me know...after all, while the cat's away the mice will play :D

Picture time

Today we went to Elwood and Holly took some pictures for us...yay!!! Thanks Holly!!! These are going to be used for the announcements, but I had to post some too...they are just cute!

Here we are all cute...

This is really our personalities...I'm the serious one and Norman is goofing off...as usual ;)

I love my honey :)

We were laughing throughout the whole thing. The wind was actually blowing quite a bit so Norman kept fixing my hair for me...lol...he's such a helper :)

Temple Day

Saturday was an amazing day! Norman took out his endowments at the Jordan River Temple. His parents and sister and brother in law came as well as one of his coworkers. It was a great day! The picture with his sister Katie turned out fuzzy so here's the one with his parents and us.

Of course I have to have a story. When we walked in to the endowment room they had saved a seat for me and asked if I had an escort. I kinda looked confused and said that Norman's mom was there too, so they sat her with me. The temple worker came over and put both of her hands on mine and said that this was my special day and that I should just enjoy it. I was confused because it was Norman's special day...lol...not mine. We went through the session and were walking out of the Celestial room when we were for lack of a better term, jumped by three temple workers. They were gathering around Norman and me and asking where we were going and they grabbed his mom back off the escalator. I felt like I was a criminal sneaking him out of some place we weren't supposed to be leaving. Then the worker was all "The sealing room is this way"...ROFL!!!! They thought we were getting married right then...Norman was ready, but yah...there were a few people lacking from my side and ummm....yah...the date is January 9th, not October 10th :) Norman was pretty sure it was inspiration...lol...I'm just glad we got it cleared up.

Safety First

So...this was actually from last weekend, but Jeff came home last weekend with 2 pieces of thick plastic that were scrap from a project he had. He decided that they would be great safety glasses. Norman had never participated in one of our family fun craft projects and I think he was totally impressed. We found an old pair of glasses and cut the frames, used some Gorilla glue tape, and some Gorilla Glue and ta da!!!!

I know that there will be a rush of people wanting us to make you some, but these glasses are couture and we only have the one pair :)
