Open House

So Jeff and Heidi's relationship has been a whirlwind...no...more of a tornado...very very FAST!!! They were going to get married here, then there, then in September and suddenly in May, there was going to be a reception and then not, then suddenly there was an open house. Oye! We love Heidi and Jeff and are so glad they are married, but they moved fast! Anyways, so we did end up doing a little last minute open house for them in Elwood. We didn't do much as far as decorations, but I had a GRAND idea to use helium balloons. It ended up being more expensive and time consuming than I thought it would be...whoops!! We did end up doing a balloon arch. My mom had looked online and she found a video where they had some music playing and they put an arch together in 6 minutes. We were just positive if they could do it in 6 minutes that we could do it in 4 or 5...LOL!!! NOT!!! Anyways, it took us a little longer than 6 minutes, but we did get it put together.

My mom did make a cake. When we were in Mesquite things were crazy and we didn't have them cut the cake. This time we wanted a cake for them to cut so we could have pictures. It looked sooo tasty even my mom could hardly contain herself!
They cut the cake.

Then it was quite the event to get them to feed it to each other, but after I showed them how they did it.

Then they even fed Trish some.

Megan's Baby Blessing

I still can't believe I have a baby! On Sunday it was Megan's baby blessing. It was such a special day and it was great to see everyone. It was such a great experience because not only was she being blessed, but she was wearing the same dress that both Jami and I had wore when we were blessed. I love that we were able to do that!

The special baby!

I don't have a picture of me in the dress as a baby, but I do have one of Jami :)
