7 months and growing

I can't believe how quick things change. Megan is sitting up like a champ now! It feels like only yesterday she was still in me and causing me all sorts of grief (Yes, I still remember the wretchedness called pregnancy). Now that I know the end result it's totally worth it, but yah, I'm not a happy pregnant person.

Here's my cutie sitting

She even sits up in her bouncer....she hardly ever lays down in it anymore

She now even loves to take a bath in the sink

It amazes me how much I love being a mommy! She's the best baby ever!!!

Smurfs

So the other day Trish and Keelee came over and Trish was teasing me about the mushrooms growing on our front lawn. I told her they were special Smurf mushrooms. She didn't believe me...can you believe she didn't believe me?!?! To make my point I have taken pictures...what do you think?

See...I can picture the smurfs living here :)

Who's that baby?

My mom found pictures of her at 6 months old. I had to do a similar shot of Megan...can you tell who is who?

LOL! I guess the color gives it away, but I still thought it was cute :)

Bouncing Baby Girl...well...kinda

Because Megan is growing up so fast and stuff she's ready for a jumper. I have been told that I LOVED my jumper as a kid so I have been very excited to get one for Megan. The day came on Friday and on Saturday Norman kindly put it together for us. I could hardly wait to see the excitement on Megan's face as she would now be able to jump!! He put it up and I put her in it. It was such a head scratching moment. You see...her head barely stuck out the top...LOL! I looked at the picture and realized he'd put it together wrong. I dunno...this other way looked pretty fun though...

I LOVE the look she's giving me like "mom...really?!?!"

Not spoiled

Yesterday Norman and I went up to my parent's house to help finish some wiring. Megan has this new fascination with the remote control and cell phones. If I bring them around her I'd better be ready to share...not fun! She was playing with my parents and wanted their remote control. My mom realized she had a brand new remote that they certainly would never need. She gave it to Megan and Megan was sooo happy to press the buttons! The problem was it was linked to the TV and she turned their TV off for them, so my mom pulled the batteries. She handed it back to Megan and Megan began to cry. I mean...hello?!?! It no longer worked. Today we gave the remote to her and she was much happier. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
