Slumber party

Megan has been saying she's afraid at night and Matt doesn't want to sleep in his bed.  Last week Matt crawled into Meg's bed and bedtime and Meg was ecstatic!  Meg has a full size bed, so there was plenty of room, but we were still a bit nervous to have them in the same bed.  Things went well and the next night Matt slept in his own bed.  Last night the kids decided it was time to share a bed again.  Just after 12 I hear a big ker-thunk come from the kids room.  I figured a kid rolled out of bed.  There wasn't any crying or moaning though.  I finally went in to just double check things.  Meg was sleeping, but I couldn't find Matt.  I was digging through the bed and he wasn't to be found.  I ran over to his toddler bed...he wasn't there.  Panic set in.  I knew he had to be there somewhere, but then I hoped nothing bad happened.  I went to looking through Megan's bed again.  I had to be somewhat careful so I didn't wake Megan.  Finally I found his foot...at the top of the bed....he was under her pillow laying next to the headboard.  The ker-thunk was him rolling into the crack between the mattress and the headboard.  It actually took quite a bit to pull him from there, but he slept through the whole thing and neither kid woke up.  Silly kiddos!  I love that they are so tight together.
