Day at the beach

After several big days we decided to take a day off from the big excitement and just go to the beach for a couple of hours. My mom and I of course went shopping for a while that afternoon, but we shopped a lot during this trip....it's what we do :)

 It was a much needed break from a busy few days.

First time at the ocean for Megan

 Oooo...cold!

 The waves coming in and out made my mom and I motion sick.  The kids had fun, but Norman had to spend the majority of the time in the waves.

 Grandpa holding down the fort for us.  He was tempted to hop on the beach patrol's ATV, but he was worried he'd get in trouble....it could have been fun to try just to see :)

 Time for some sand fun (we had fun with sand the rest of the day....it was EVERYWHERE!)

 We went to old town for dinner.  It was fabulous!  LOVED the food there

 Grandpa ate so much he was napping there on the spot (couldn't have been the flash)

 Found this guy while wandering.   They had a bunch of fun little shops. We of course had to check them out.  There was one cart where the lady was just fascinated with Matt.  She kept telling us how he was  the cutest baby ever.  She actually asked if she could give my kids a present.  I told her she didn't have to, but she insisted.  She gave them each a little bracelet.  It was adorable!  Matt's a cutie and all, but wow! She was all over him.
