For our next day of amazing adventures we were off to San Diego Zoo. My dad was more tired this day so you'll see him the the wheelchair a bit more. I'm so grateful my parents were willing to come with us. I really do have amazing parents!
Our little monkey checking out the monkey.
This little stink didn't like keeping his socks and shoes on
What a cool bench!
Family picture time!
They had a little petting zoo
Matt thought that was pretty fun
I said to Megan "so cute! can you give it a kiss?" Then I realized I had just asked her to kiss a germ covered goat....lovely...what a great mom I am...oops!
My two little bugs
That's a big lizard!
Here they all come
Too much excitement for Matt...nap time!
Look mom! I can see it!
Taking a break with Matt
Meg thought the turtles were pretty cool
My mom had the stroller with Matt most of the time, but this is how we rolled. Norman pushing my dad with Meg on his lap. You can't see me in the picture, but I was red and sweaty. There was a lot of walking up and down hill involved in the zoo. I thought I may die, but I didn't.
Yay! More mingos!!!
More birds to torment!!
These monkeys cracked me up. They would get on the fence and start rocking the fence in and out and reach out to grab the leaves on this bush. It was impressive how far they could get the fencing to move.
Ooga booga!
mini ooga booga
Megan and the birds. It was hilarious to watch her follow them around. She ran and ran until she'd see a bird. Then it was walk fast, but see if I can catch it.
